FAQ

Office of Parish Outreach Ministries/Health Care Ministry

Resources

The pastors and pastoral staffs of all parishes are available to provide pastoral visitation, sacramental ministry and spiritual support to parishioners with life-threatening illnesses. Most parishes have a group of Extraordinary Ministers of Communion who will bring Holy Communion on a regular basis. Some parishes have organized outreach programs that can provide practical assistance, and most parishes can informally arrange such assistance. Bereavement ministry is offered by a number of parishes, as are special sacramental and liturgical celebrations.
