May 16 , 2008 - Archdiocese of Boston Begins Search For New Cabinet Secretary For Faith Formation & EvangelizationThe Archdiocese of Boston seeks qualified candidates for the position of Secretary for Faith Formation & Evangelization to energize, innovate and coordinate the various ways that the Archdiocese passes on the Catholic Faith through its parishes, schools and agencies. Secretary will oversee ministries including evangelization, youth and young adults, religious education, campus and health care ministry, marriage ministries, and a number of outreach initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess:
S/he will report directly to the Vicar General & Moderator of the Curia as a key member of Cardinal Sean's Cabinet. S/he will interact regularly with the Archdiocese's pastors, professional lay ministers, catechists, and agency directors to help build new and engaging approaches to the ways in which we pass on the Catholic Faith. This position offers a competitive compensation and benefits package. We anticipate an October 1, 2008 start date for this position, which will be located at our new Pastoral Center in Braintree, MA.
