NCBB Online Forum on Black Catholic Spirituality
A statement has been placed on the NBCC Forum website to generate conversation and to encourage people to give input on spirituality. Please take time to visit the site, give your insight about what Black Catholic spirituality is. Email others you may know so they too can join in the conversation.

The questions we want you to respond to are:
1. What is Black spirituality?
2. How are the aspects of Black spirituality seen in our daily lives and in our worship?
3. What are the gifts of Black spirituality to the ongoing enhancement of the lives of Black people today?
4. How do we pass, teach and share on the gift of Black spirituality with our children and in our faith communities?
5. How are we today Black and Catholic and Catholic and Black?

These are just some of my thoughts. You may have other questions or statements you wish to address around Black spirituality like bible studies, faith program, integration in worship. . . . .

The purpose of the forum is to generate conversation, to be a teaching tool and to surface practical way of being who we are Black and Catholic, Catholic and Black.

Quote to Note:

Jesus cried out and said, “Whoever believes in me believes not only in me but also in the one who sent me, and whoever sees me sees the one who sent me. I came into the world as light, so that everyone who believes in me might not remain in darkness.

Gospel of John 12:44-45
