Following the God of Life
The Gospel of life is at the heart of Jesus' message. The Pro-Life Office
for the Archdiocese of Boston has a singular mission that expresses itself
in multifaceted dimensions. The single focus is to reflect the love of Jesus
Christ for all persons across the life span from the first moments of new life
in the womb until natural death. Every person draws his or her deepest identity
from God their Creator. Respect for human dignity and human life honors God
who claims each one of us as His beloved. This love, that breaks all boundaries
of human understanding, is cause for great joy and hope.
This singular mission has unfolded in varied and spirit-filled ways as it
is lived out in the parishes through the faithfulness of so many who together:
celebrate, proclaim, and serve the Gospel of life.
We invite you to become what Pope John Paul II calls the people of life and
people for life. Ask the Holy Spirit to guide your heart. Every person and
every gift is needed to build the culture of life and civilization of love.
