Respect Life

Just as the Catholic bishops of the world, who gathered at the Second Vatican Council, articulated a theological framework that emphasizes respect for life in Gaudium et Spes so too did the American Catholic bishops in their 1968 pastoral letter "Human Life in Our Day." One manifestation of this message has been the Respect Life Program in which parishes have participated for the past three decades.
