window depicts Saint William of Vercelli. He was born in Vercelli, Italy in 1085.
He settled as a hermit on Monte Vergine near Naples where he formed a community of
hermit monks about 1124. His Benedictine Abbey of Monte Vergione is a popular place
of pilgrimage. |
